Star used hotel charges to sidestep ban on using Chinese debit cards for gambling, inquiry hears

A lawyer at The Star Entertainment Group has admitted to allowing patrons with Chinese debit cards to indirectly buy gaming chips, despite the company behind the cards banning gambling transactions.
