Motorists welcome falling fuel costs, but say cheaper petrol won’t sway their vote

There are signs that petrol prices are starting to fall after the federal government declared its plan to halve the fuel excise in Tuesday’s budget. While the relief is being welcome at the bowser, motorists in one key election battleground say the cut won’t affect the way they vote.
